I'm going to make a change.

I went to Prom recently. I honestly thought I'd have a dreadful time all by myself, I tried getting 4 boys to go with me... One got expelled the day he asked me, another has gone A.W.O.L., another is in a love triangle with me and his best friend <<; Long story, the last one was held back by his teacher at his school ;-;

I won a printer/ scanner deal :33 Thats how sad I was. :dance: I don't think I've ever had that much fun at a dance in my entire career of those events. I danced to every song I could and was nominated Prom queen :heart:.. I know its just silly girlish pride, but I was pretty proud of myself that night for bucking up and not feeling sorry for myself that I went alone.

I must be more dumb than I thought I was, it took me this long to realize how much I could accomplish on my own without any outer influences altering me... I mean a significant other of course. With only my own self, its like no one can stop me or hold me back. Its better being alone then I thought. Sure its quiet and lonely sometimes, but...

I'm happier now then I've been in a long time. :3 I-is that weird??

is it weird, no, you are liberated, and I saw you at prom, and you were happier there than you have been in a while, I think you should have been prom queen honestly, you deserved it, but hey, being nominated is good enough, I'm glad to see you so happy, and able to accomplish things on your own, and I know you'll go far with that attitude, and by the way, because we arrived, entered, and took pictures all together, does that mean we went together, you me and Ashley?

We did all go together, but I didn't have a date. XD I was the 3rd wheel honestly, and it was slightly awkward. The prom pictures are the greatest thing I've ever thought of >3 Its better being alone then I thought it was..

It's good to hear that you have confidence in yourself (probably more than I have in myself :XD: I'm more bark than bite) It's not silly.. some people teach, some people preach, some people dance, write, sing . . .

No matter what it is, a job well done is something to take pride in, when you can rise up and move out..

Sounds like you had shit loads of fun, Just like my first prom when I went Stag. Its not that bad going stag, Sometimes you meet people you never knew existed.
